Morrish Personnel Assessment

The business was started in 1986 and is based in Devonshire, UK.  It is a partnership run by Jane & David Morrish who bring complementary skills to the business.

Jane Morrish has a background in personnel, and started the business over after completing a post-graduate Diploma in Management Studies.  Jane is qualified to offer a wide range of psychometric tests and assessments and is registered with the leading British assessment publishers and distributors.  She is also a member of the British Psychological Society's Register of Competence in Psychometric Testing, which was established as a governing body to ensure professional conduct in the industry and to  provide a reference point for professionally trained people using correctly validated assessments.

David Morrish has board level experience, both as director and MD, in manufacturing, distribution and IT.  He has a scientific background and has psychometric testing qualifications.  He has used testing extensively in personnel recruitment and personnel development.

Clients

Clients are drawn from a broad cross-section of companies and industrial sectors.  Their activities vary from manufacturing in the architectural, automotive and engineering sectors, to service industries such as telephone call centres, food and leisure retailing, travel, IT, and recruitment and training consultancies.  The posts covered vary from board level to apprentices, and from sales and sales related posts, to IT, finance and production.

The customer base has built steadily over the years, and a very high proportion of the assignments are from long standing clients.  Once the benefits of testing have been experienced, clients become convinced - and regular users!

Tests & Assessments

One of the factors which underpin the benefits of the service we provide is that we only  use thoroughly validated assessments - for example the Cattell 16PF5, the OPQ series and the Morrisby Profile - from the major British test houses such as ASE, Saville and Holdsworth (SHL) and The Morrisby Organisation.  Even then, we always check the research data to ensure that an assessment's application, validity and scope is appropriate to clients' needs.
